Denelle Niles Brown, originally from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, currently serves as the Director of Minority Student Affairs and the Black Cultural Center at The University of Tennessee. Mrs. Brown received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Southern Illinois University.
Denelle is an avid student advocate who enjoys working closely with numerous student organizations. Students have come to depend on Denelle for support in their personal, academic, and professional endeavors. She is always there to greet you with a warm smile and a kind heart. She strives to promote cultural and ethnic diversity to participating on several university committees. Mrs. Brown’s goals for Minority Student Affairs and the Black Cultural Center are to promote education and appreciation for the diverse cultural heritage of our university and local communities while continuing to expand the complement of quality programs and services in Minority Student Affairs and the Black Cultural Center.
